Free Downtown Summer Trolley and Nightrider Evening Service This Weekend

The Jule's free Downtown Summer Trolley will be in service on Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, as part of this year's DubuqueFest and Old House Enthusiasts' events in downtown Dubuque. This service is free and open to the public. The trolley will operate on its regular route and schedule throughout the downtown and Historic Millwork District area.

The trolley will begin operating its regular 2013 summer schedule from Tuesday, May 28 (the day after Memorial Day) through Monday, Sept. 2 (Labor Day). The Downtown Summer Trolley provides free service on weekdays and weekends, including Sundays, with the following hours:

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The Jule's Nightrider service is also available for evening transportation during DubuqueFest. The Nightrider provides regular service on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6:00 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. along Locust Street, between the Town Clock and Washington Park, to a variety of locations in the community.

The Nightrider service is open to the public at the standard fare:

Students (K-12) with current school ID - Free
Students (K-12) without school ID - $0.50
Full fare (ages 18-64) - $1.00
Half Fare with The Jule Half Fare ID card - $0.50
Students with current ID from Clarke, University of Dubuque or Loras - Free
